Out of Town Sign Ups
The Veterans Build will take place in Shreveport, LA beginning the week of March 10, 2013 and ending the week of June 1, 2013. The build days will be Monday through Friday of each week with volunteers checking in on Sunday and departing on Saturday.
Accommodations: Special Group Rates are available at the Holiday Inn Downtown Shreveport. $65.00 per night for either King or Double Rooms. After March 1st call Melissa Ferland at 318-222-7717 ext. 116 to make reservations.
If you are requesting to stay in volunteer lodging the registration fee is $160.00 per person. This fee includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and an event t-shirt. Check in day is Sunday after 12 noon and check out is Saturday by 12 noon. Meals begin on Monday and end on Friday. Volunteer lodging is available on a first come first serve basis. Volunteer lodging will accommodate 20 volunteers-bunk style. Volunteers will need to bring their own towels and toiletries.
For those arranging lodging on their own there is no registration fee. Lunch will be provided at the work site for Monday-Friday. All other meals should be arranged on your own. You must complete and send in your Emergency Contact Fee and Release Waiver-please mail to the address below.
