John Mayer is no longer just waiting on the world to change, he’s trying to take a more active part in it. And Wednesday, the musician was in Shreveport helping paint one of several homes being built to support veterans. It was a surprise visit for Mayer as he travels to New Orleans for Jazz Fest. The Stoner Hill Veterans’ Village has made great strides since the project started about a month ago. It’s the Fuller Center’s latest effort to rebuild the lives of our nation’s heroes that found themselves in trouble. Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — Although they just started building the homes for veterans on March 9, Fuller Center for Housing volunteers have already made an impressive start. Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — The Fuller Center for Housing of Northwest Louisiana is still searching for volunteers. Set to break ground Saturday, March 9, the group still needs volunteers of all types.
